Web Based Tools
Voice Thread Assignment:
Animoto Assignment:
My Support System, My Family, My Friends
Animoto is a easy to use video resource for anyone who is interested in making a video. This would be great in the classroom because students have the opportunity to create videos as a form of presentation for a project. Students can create a video based on history, their family, or pictures of class field trip. For a history assignment, the students could create a timeline of pictures and then add music that relates to the theme of the timeline. For a family project, the students can include pictures of their family and then share that with the class. A family video would be great for the beginning of the school year when students are trying to get to know each other. Field trip videos can be made by the entire class and then uploaded to the classroom webpage or blog. This is a great way to share school experiences with families who were not there. There are so many ideas of ways to use this web based tool. I would use animoto in my classroom because it is easy to understand and use. I found this tool to be very user friendly and the producing was well explained. I felt comfortable using this tool and would feel confident in introducing it to students and fellow educators.

Awesome posting. I love your Animoto video. I also thought it was a cool way to make a video. I thought the software was really easy to use and the themes that were offered. I also liked your take on how you used Voice Thread. It was an out of the box way to utilize this new web tool. Like Animoto, I was comfortable using the software and thought it could be a great asset to a teachers bag of tricks. Wordle is pretty cool, its a great way to introduce a topic or keep track of vocabulary words.
